Muralla Roja was inspired by my visit to Ricardo Bofill’s architectural complex in Calpe. Its labyrinth of colour, light, and geometry inspired me to combine a real place with my own story. The small figure leaning against the cypress tree expresses the desire to dissolve into the space, feel its rhythm, and become part of the architecture.

For those who know that dreams become reality.
Full Moon was inspired by my many walks through the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, one of Spain’s most recognisable architectural landmarks. Long before moving to Spain, I found myself painting this country again and again, never imagining that one day I would live here.
Today I run here in the mornings, cycle through it, or simply enjoy walking around. What once existed only in my paintings has become part of my everyday life.

Bar primavera

For those who love classic Valencian scenes with a Zublevych touch.
Bar Primavera — a classic red wall, a cervecería, a fountain, cypress trees and a blooming tree. That’s why it’s called Bar Primavera. A scene you can find in almost any Valencian neighbourhood.
Here, my little Alguien stands by the fountain, looking up at the blooming tree, hoping to dissolve into the landscape.

Reunión en un pueblo is a collective image of a mountain pueblo. There are many mountains around Valencia, and many little villages hidden in them. When you want a bit of adventure, but something quick and inexpensive, it’s always a great idea.
Swing for Takeoff

It feels like you’re falling, when in fact you’re already gaining height.
Swing for Takeoff is one of my favourite paintings, together with Equilibrio (Esperando el Metro).
It reflects my state of mind over the past few years. It may look simple at first glance, but there’s a lot hidden beneath the surface.
I’ve always loved swings, and whenever I get the chance, I still jump on one. Luckily, in Spain, they’re never hard to find.
