The warmth of a Spanish summer has arrived at Salon, where the quiet streets and unhurried tempo of Valencian life can be enjoyed though Olena Zublevych’s painted works.
Art imbued with the energy of the south can immerse you in a completely different dimension. Beyond familiar Mediterranean motifs there are far deeper layers of meaning for reflection.

Olena is a Ukrainian artist who has lived and worked in Valencia for almost 2 years, having previously received a Master of Fine Arts in Odesa, taught painting, and worked in graphic design.
“It doesn’t matter what you do as an artist, what matters is how you feel while creating.”
“All paintings are filled with a certain state and carry their own charge and frequency. Vibration of color, color relationships, composition – all these are tools that work for expressiveness and what captivates me in the process.”
“Spain is an ideal place for me, nourishing and filling me with new meanings, ideas and images.”
“I like Valencia and its graphic, roughness and color in places. My latest projects are directly related to this city and getting to know myself in it.”
About the graphics #tarjetas_valencianas

“It all started with sketches of Valencia. I came here from Berlin with only a notepad and pen. Minimum means – maximum expressiveness. Working directly with the area without room for error – this is how I began my communication with the city. And I continue all this time. I created a map where I mark the places. And you can follow them.”
Olena Zublevych will be exhibiting at Salon from the 18th to the 23rd July.
