The original title of the painting is “VIsto de Albufera” (view from Albufera) 60×46 cm, oil, canvas, 2023.
The painting from the “Foreigner” series (Extranjero) was painted in my first year of living in Spain, in Valencia. I lived in a small pueblo called Picassent.
If you looked out the window, you could see Albufera – a lake in Valencia. This view from the window made me happy and inspired every day. In addition, Albufera is important for me – I was there before I lived in Valencia. Once upon a time I was just a tourist artist.
During the year of living in this small town, I went to Albufera on a bicycle more than once, but that’s another story, which will definitely be continued in the form of another picture.
The painting was exhibited at my personal exhibition in Valencia in 2024.
